– Reported and wrote a daily aggregated newsletter on tech news for more than 18,000 subscribers.
– Reported and filed weekly data-driven enterprise and news analysis stories.
– Wrote survey questions and work with Morning Consult’s polling team to manage surveys aimed at gauging public opinion on trends at the intersection of policy and consumer technology, as exemplified in a story determining how much consumers believe their personal information is worth to advertisers.
– Interviewed lawmakers and key congressional staffers during votes and committee hearings as a member of the Congressional press corps.
– Developed the MC tech coverage reputation to a position where our publication was considered for embargoed stories and scoops by several congressional offices and 2020 presidential campaigns. Also served as a panel moderator for events based on my tech coverage.

– Wrote & edited the daily newsletter summarizing the day’s M&A, funding and local D.C. innovation and technology news sent to over 10,200 subscribers. (Increased subscriber numbers by 58% in 2017.)
– Reported at least one story each day, including profiles, lists, analysis, and multimedia stories.
– Supervised and hired the DC Inno editorial intern each semester.
– Oversaw and launched a partnership with General Assembly to start and produce a bi-weekly D.C. tech podcast.
